About Us

Simone’s School of Performing Arts prepares aspiring students for the professional entertainment industry through disciplined, professional teaching, exposure to a variety of the most up to date styles and encouragement of personal excellence, as well as catering for students who are looking purely for a fun, energetic, recreational class.

Simone’s School of Performing Arts was established in 1990 by Simone Mann, and the success and achievements have been amazing. Recognized as being the most professional and talented performing arts school on the Central Coast, we have been selected as support acts for such performers as Vanessa Amorosi, Bachelor Girl, Jeannie Little and Kamahl. Our performances vary from places such as Sea World, Movie World, Australia’s Wonderland, Disney Land and The Royal Easter Show. We have also performed at Darling Harbour Carols by Candlelight and appeared regularly as the Cheerleaders for the North Sydney Bears, where we were required to perform in front of an audience of 20,000. Simone’s School of Performing Arts were asked to represent Capezio Dance Wear, one of Australia’s leading Dance Wear Companies, in the 2008 Dance Expo. In 2006 Simone’s School of Performing Arts was asked to open the entire Dance Expo, while in the 2003 Dance Expo Simone’s School of Performing Arts were the only school asked to perform from the Central Coast and performed along side twelve other very talented schools from across Australia. Simone’s students have also performed regularly at Westfield Shopping Centres and shopping centres all over Sydney, The Central Coast and Newcastle.

Recreational Classes

We have classes designed purely for the student who would like to grow with confidence in a safe and fun atmosphere while increasing fitness and making new friends.

In house Agency

Over 2008 Simone’s joined up with a well know Agency from Queensland and Sydney to gather more opportunities for the students of Simone’s School of Performing Arts in the professional entertainment industry.

We have students performing already for The Caribbean Cruises, Tokyo Disney and offered contracts from the Broadway Musical “Wicked”. Four of our senior students have also been contracted to perform professionally in an American Music Video Film Clip.

In 2009 our relationship has grown with these agents to see further work coming our way and due to this success Simone has also opened a second Agency, providing more work for our performance group teams.

Simone’s School of Performing Arts is well known for its urban styles and unique choreography. Performance students have received awards from the finest choreographers in Australia including William Forsythe, who upon seeing our dancers in action described them as all possessing ‘The X Factor’, and that special quality that differentiates between a dancer and a real performer.

Our Policy

To provide a safe, educational and recreational environment for all ages, with well-supervised classes that are taught by highly qualified and trained teachers in a friendly encouraging atmosphere. We strive to enable the individual to work to his / her full capability whilst also learning the value of group participation and uniformity.

Simone and the staff of Simone’s School of Performing Arts strive to be the very best dance and performance school with the drive of professional conduct, not only on the Central Coast but Australia wide.
