Stretch and Technique classes are combined with many methods of dance disciplines such as yoga, pilates, body Conditioning and high fitness needed to strength students technique and flexibility
Yoga
Yoga gives you energy and vitality. It corrects your posture, cures disease, clears the mind, and reduces stress. By taking you through a range of poses, yoga makes you feel good by bringing you in touch with yourself.
Pilates
Pilates is a system of body conditioning designed in the 1920s by physical trainer Joseph Pilates. Some of the first people to use the Pilates method were dancers and it continues to be popular amongst dancers today. Classes consist of energizing floor-based exercise routines designed to improve flexibility and strength. You will be guided through a series of controlled movements that will help you with your body alignment, and strengthen and tone your abdominal and back muscles.
Body Conditioning
Using strengthening exercises and techniques to work on your core centre.
Fitness
The ultimate fitness workout taking elements from martial arts to extreme, using cardio and resistance training techniques focusing purely on fitness.
Stretch and Technique classes also consisted of teaching correct technique for kicks, leaps, jumps and turns and is a fantastic class for students who wish to strength their technical dance ability.
