Cathy Walsh

Assistant Teacher to Classical Junior and Intermediate classes at Tumbi

Cathy has been dancing since the age of 4yrs and has studied classes in jazz, tap, modern, physical culture and Latin dancing. Cathy has also studied belly dancing and has performed paid belly dancing shows.

Cathy’s performance experience also includes the Sydney Opera House, State Sports Centre at Homebush, Mattara Festival and many eisteddfods. Last year she received a Distinction in the Glenn Wood Grade Four Tapping Exam.

Cathy has been training at Simone’s School of Performing Arts as an assistant teacher for the past year under the Director, Simone Mann. She has been working with our junior tap, jazz and modern classes as well as sub-teens hip hop and baby ballet classes.

Cathy is a pre-school and primary school teacher and is currently working in a pre-school. She has a wonderful rapport with children and their parents and a wonderful, loving nature. We are very lucky to Cathy in our school.
