Haley Hawkins

This is my ninth year of dancing with Simones School of Performing Arts and i absloutley love it! In this time i have studied Jazz, Modern and Tap and have learnt so much about each style including obtaining my Level 4 and Level 5 certificate in the Glen Wood Tap Syllabus.

I have been an assistant teacher with Simone since 2008 and have been lucky enough to also teach my own classes since 2009, these classes include for both assisting and teaching: Lollipops, Juniors and Intermediate classes as well as assisting 8 Years Performance, Cheerleading, Acrobatics and 12 Years Tap Troupe.

Last year i was very fortunate to be asked to join the American Troupe and we travelled to the USA to dance in Disneyland and participate in some great workshops in Hollywood also! This once in a lifetime opportunity has strengthened my dancing ability and taught me some great things to pass on to the children in my classes.

Dancing and Teaching with Simones has allowed me to meet some wonderful people and some very dedicated kids who love what they do! Teaching is very rewarding and i look forward to another wonderful year at Simones with lots of fantastic dancing!
