Rachel McIntyre

Teaches – Teenage Modern and Jazz at Woongarrah

Rachel has been passionate about dance all her life and as a result has trained in all styles declaring hip hop and modern dance as her fortes. She has taught many different age groups over her 5 years teaching for Simone’s from primary ages, teens to adults and is thrilled to be able to share and nurture a love of dance in others.

Professionally Rachel was a dancer in the 2009 film clip ‘Rosemary’ for The Snowdroppers and was one of their back up dancers for four shows at Sydney blues club ‘The Barrelhouse’. She has performed at private corporate events including cabaret Can Can performances at Le Chat Noir as part of Bastille weekend entertainment in 2009, 2008 and 2006, various themed performances for ING private functions and at The New Dolton House, Sydney. Rachel has also performed in many places with Simone’s including the Sydney royal Easter show, Sydney dance expo, Festivals and other large events and performed in the Australian Dance Idol Hip Hop Finals.

Rachel loves to work up a sweat in the studio and conquer new skills, and prides herself in being able to spread this enthusiasm throughout her classes.

She believes ‘you are your biggest competitor so always strive to outdo yourself!’
