Sidney Lee

Sidney trained in both rhythmic and artistic gymnastics for 8 years before starting dance in 2013. She has excelled in all styles of dance with experience performing in a troupe, duo, trio and as a soloist. 

In 2018 Sidney travelled to China as a part of the Tianjin International Children’s Cultural and Art Festival, where her troupe performed in many different venues for a range of varied audiences. Sidney has also completed RAD ballet exams, from grade 4 to advanced 1 in 2021.

Sidney started assistant teaching in 2018 and coached her own classes from 2020. Her teaching qualifications include Acrobatic Arts module one, Dance Cirque lyra and silks and ADA hand balancing foundations and module one. Sidney’s years of training as a dancer, plus these qualifications allow her to safely instruct students and help them develop a love for acrobatics and circus.

Sidney’s goals are to see her students grow and excel in their Acro/Tumbling and Circus skills, moving SSOPA further forward as the leading studio in these programs.
