Chloe Taylor

Chloe has been dancing since the young age of 3 in England where she was born, training in ballet and tap as well as taking RAD and NATD exams.

She started her SSOPA journey at age 6 in 2011 when she emigrated to Australia. This sparked her passion for dance in all styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, broadway jazz, and more.

Chloe has trained and performed in many dance competitions overtime in both troupes and as a soloist under Simone Mann, placing with exceptional results.

She has also completed many RAD Ballet exams and Glenn Wood Tap exams over the years receiving many distinctions.
Chloe has been lucky enough to travel many places with SSOPA including Melbourne, Forster, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Taree and more. She has also been given opportunities to perform at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Youth In Performing Arts (YIPA), Australia's Best Dance Crew, as well as dance alongside 2019 Australia's Got Talent finalist, Olina Loau.

Chloe has also participated in many workshops over the years, being taught by famous choreographers over Australia. Outside of SSOPA Chloe has performed in school-based dance competitions including the Resonate Australian Dance Festival (ADF), and she has been selected to perform in the Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College Senior Dance Ensemble in 2020 and College Company Ensemble from 2017-2022. She has also been successful in auditions for dance roles.

In 2022, Chloe was the assistant dance teacher to Miss Karen in the Friday night classes, where she learnt leadership and problem-solving skills. During her time at dancing Chloe has gained skills such as confidence, leadership, teamwork, and communication. Chloe loves dancing at SSOPA, it's her second family.  She loves sharing her trained skills, technique, knowledge, experience, and love for dance with everyone.

This is a place to be motivated to achieve your goals, to strive for excellence, to make friends forever and always call SSOPA your family.
